Yesterday, I told you which of our beautiful cities/towns were considered the safest in the state. Today, lets get to the highest crime rate!

Okay, I shouldn't sound so excited about that. The exclamation point was maybe the wrong choice of punctuation given the subject at hand. But, still, lets get to the facts.

First of all, I'm going to give you a moment to yourself and let you guess which two cities made the list. Give it a good hard think.

Are you ready?

Okay, cool.

Based on FBI crime statistics, newyorkupstate.com put together a list of the Top 20 places with the highest robbery rates. Thankfully, our portion of Upstate only includes two cities on the list...

Coming in at #7 is our state capital, Albany. It also doesn't help that Albany is ranked #13 on the "most dangerous" list, as well.

And in at #5, Troy. Right around the corner from one of the states safest places, Troy is also ranked #5 on the most dangerous list.
