Yeah, I know, sucks right? I don't drink coffee but I know I'm in the minority and I'm sorry to tell you this but your Starbucks Coffee may have had poop in it.

The BBC's consumer series Watchdog ran some tests on the ice used at a bunch of coffee chains across England and according to GrubStreet, 30% of Starbucks' drinks had fecal bacteria in it. I know what you're thinking, "Well, that's England, that's not in America." In 2010, there was study done by NYU where fecal material was found in various soda machines in Virginia and they came to the conclusion that there's feces in pretty much everything around us. What they're saying is, sorry, guys, chances are your coffee on this side of the Atlantic probably has it too.

Makes you want to run out and get that Iced Coffee now, huh? On the plus side, it's the ice and not the actual coffee that has feces in it but ice melts. There's apparently a level of certain kinds of bacteria that are allowed to be found but this kind of bacteria isn't one of those. Starbucks is now investigating all of their locations and cracking down on sanitation so actually, this may be the best time for Starbucks. It's up to you whether you want to risk it or not, good luck!
