I can't believe we have to wait till fall, again.

But, alas this is what TV shows are meant to do, aren't they? Leave us with just enough to have us wanting more. I'll start by saying this: I want more.

No one knew what to expect going into the season finale of "The Walking Dead." We could only imagine it would be intense and that lives would be lost, because it seems that that's what happens every season finale. This one was slightly different, though.

Now, lets just talk for a moment, shall we? I've read so many opinions on this season finale; some thought it was weak. Those people I'm a little confused by. I get it, we all like and dislike things for different reasons and not everyone is going to feel the same way about things, but as a fan of this show in particular, I'm not sure how you could not have been entertained by last night.

We've been waiting all season for the first formal introduction of, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and while it took up until the last 10-minutes to make that happened, it was well worth the wait. We watched the maze he had his people lead Team Rick, the mind games he played leading them right down the trail he wanted them to follow; right into the palm of his hands. The very hands that held a barbwired baseball bat. The same bat that inevitably [SPOILER ALERT] beats one of our 'beloved' from Team Rick and according to the producers of the show, that beating is a deadly beating. But, which character? When you dissect their wording, if it's truly a 'beloved' character would that narrow down the list or does that include all that were lined up on their knees?

As a fan of this show from the beginning, I think we've watched all the stages so far and it felt like, ya know what? This team is A-Okay. They know what's up and they can take anything. Sure, we lost some main characters along the way, but it's inevitable in the apocalypse. This time though, the enemy is tough, comes with a team we're still unsure of how large, has an arsenal of weapons and is ready to not just fight and kill, but slaughter. I'm so excited to see what's next for this crew; who dies, how is affects who is left, what this next chapter is going to bring to a show that could really go on forever with the creative minds behind it. The downfall? Waiting until, most likely October to have all of our questions answered. Until then, we wait...and maybe re-watch it all from the beginning.
