The CW has announced it's Fall line up and I have to admit they are gaining on the Networks. Lots of unique shows. I am not a "Vampires Diaries" fan but I know many females that are. So "The Originals" which is a spin off of VD looks like a hit.

The CW is not bringing back :  "90210", "Cult", "Emily Owens, M.D." and "Gossip Girl".

The shows they are bringing back :  "America's Next Top Model", "Arrow", "Beauty and the Beast", "The Carrie Diaries", "Hart of Dixie", "Supernatural", "The Vampire Diaries", and "Nikita" but only for six, final episodes.

"The 100":  This mid-season replacement is a sci-fi drama that's set after a nuclear war has wiped out most of civilization.  The few remaining human survivors are living in space stations, which start to fail a century later.

"Famous in 12":  A reality show that follows some ordinary family who moves to Los Angeles and attempts to become famous in just 12 weeks.

"The Originals":  A spin-off of "The Vampire Diaries",  "The Originals" focuses on the vampire-werewolf hybrid Klaus, who's been an antagonist on "Vampire Diaries" the past few seasons.

"Reign":  A teen drama set in the 16th century, about the teenage years of Mary, Queen of Scots.

"Star-Crossed":  This mid-season replacement is a drama about a girl who falls in love with a teenage alien.

"The Tomorrow People":  A sci-fi drama set some time in the future about, a small number of young people, who have special powers, including instant teleportation and telepathy.  They're being hunted down by a group run by Mark Pellegrino, who you know as Lucifer on "Supernatural" and Jacob on "Lost".
