The Royal Wedding Dress
We're only three days away from the big, royal wedding and speculations about Kate Middleton's wedding dress have been circulating for quite some time, but what is the truth behind "the dress"? Rumor had it the infamous designer Alexander McQueen was on tap to create her dress. Victoria Beckham was suspected as the dress designer since her and husband David Beckham will be guests in attendance. But there has also been another rumor that Kate, herself, was designing the dress(since she has an art degree and worked in the fashion industry).
What we do know is that the royal wedding dress is being kept under lock and key in Buckingham Palace. The dress has actually been designed there by whomever is creating the infamous gown. Many bridal experts and bridal dress consultants suspect that whatever design Kate Middleton has on when she gets out at Westminster Abbey Friday morning, the style will set a new precedence for years to come in the fashion world and especially the bridal industry.
Princess Diana's dress was also kept a huge secret back in 1981 when she married Prince Charles. Diana's dress was designed back then by the British designer, Elizabeth Emanuel. While CNN's Piers Morgan interviewed Emanuel on what to possibly expect of Middleton's dress, she "found it a little tough to predict what Middleton might look like on her big day because no one's been given any hints as tow hoe is designing her dress (Full story)."
