The “Responsible and Respectful” Song – A. W. Becker Elementary School [VIDEO]

I respect Mr. Ben Rau, the awesome music teacher at A. W. Becker Elementary School.  He's very responsible, and so are his students.  That's the school motto, by the way -"Be Responsible, Be Respectful".  I guess they were missing a jingle to go with it.  Mr. Rau and this huge group of 75 kids were right there with the solution.

This is my third appearance at this really great institution - the A.W. Becker Elementary school in the Selkirk area.   What makes this appearance unique is that we get to meet in an actual music room.

Mr. Rau already had an idea in mind (he even came up with the melody) , and that was a huge time saver on my end.  The kids contributed some great ideas to fill out the lyrics.

I ended up just being the recording engineer on the "session", which was totally fine with me.  Hey - as long as I come away with a finished piece and a clear recording, I'm a happy guy.
