Lights Camera Jackson is in Los Angeles to participate in the Critics Choice Awards voting and viewing tomorrow night but he's still bringing us the movies we need to focus on this weekend.

It's getting Oscar buzz and how couldn't it with stars like Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep and directed by Steven Spielberg? "The Post" is about Katharine Graham (Streep) who was the first female publisher of an American newspaper, The Washington Post. Graham is racing against the New York Times for a story on government cover-ups of huge secrets that involves 4 US Presidents.

Another great drama coming to theatres this weekend is "The Commuter" starring Liam Neeson. Neeson plays Michael, an insurance salesman, on his commute home when he's contacted by a stranger. He has the length of his commute to find their identity.
