The Palace Theatre Is About to Get a HUGE Expansion

The Palace Theatre we've grown to know and love is about to get a $65 million dollar face-lift to let us love it even more. If seen to it's full vision, the historical theatre off of North Pearl Street in downtown Albany would be welcoming a new, smaller theater, along with an expansion to it's original theaters lobby, stage house and state-of-the-art video post production facility. The ladder being the only one of it's kind between Manhattan and Montreal, which is pretty cool if you ask me!

So when is this happening? What can we expect? That's all still in the works, but the cool thing is, if approved the jobs and economic boost it would bring along with it would be great for the Capital Region.

According to the Palace Theatres research into what this will bring for our community: $125 million dollar economic boost, producing approximately 225 full-time jobs during the three year construction.
