The McRib Returns To McDonalds [VIDEO]

One of the most delicious creations that McDonalds has ever come up with, The McRib is back once again.

Every time the popular sandwhich is brought back, there is always plenty of hype about it. That is obvious since I am writing a blog about it. Many wonder why the McRib isn't available all year long. The answer to that is an easy one.

 According to the Business Insider:

Making the McRib permanent nationally is too much of a risk to take. Remember, the McRib also gets people into the store to buy even more, and the effect is amplified with all the build-up before its big comeback appearances -- something McDonald's can only get with the McRib and a few other select items. Customers are dragged in by their insatiable McRib-loving friends, since they don't want to eat alone.

If the McRib was there permanently, it'd likely become just another menu item. It needs the desperate yearning of its fans, a year or more removed from the sweet sandwich, to be the hit that it is.

So there you have it, get out and grab this piece of Barbecue Deliciousness before they are once again gone. You have until November 14th. I'm glad they have McNuggets all year long, I don't know what I could do without them. Yummy!

Anytime I think of the McRib, I can't help but think of this classic Simpsons Episode.
