The Marlboro Man, Eric Lawson Has Died

He was a smoker since 14 years old. He's not the first one who succumbed to the very product he promoted, but he's the latest. His name is Eric Lawson

Mr. Lawson was 72 years old. I don't consider that old anymore, do you? He was not only the face of huge tobacco company from 1978-81, but, according to an article in the Washington Post, his other credits include “Charlie’s Angels,” “Dynasty” and “Baywatch.” I found this on Youtube...

Not trying to lecture here. I'm a firm believer that if you really want to pursue a habit like that, I guess there ist much I can say as long as it doesn't affect me or my family. But don't you find it kind of ironic that this happened AGAIN? HE'S THE FIFTH MODEL TO DIE, according to the Dailymail! It's gotta make you think twice, doesn't it?

OK, I'll get off my soapbox…. Condolences to all of the families involved.
