It's on my bucket list every year and each year there's one reason or another I can't go. This year I'm crossing it off for sure and here's the information if you want to check out this really cool halloween event.

I know, it feels early, but starting September 28th, you can take a quick trip down to the Hudson Valley to check out the Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze. I mentioned it last year and said I was going, didn't go, but this year is different. Time Out New York says that the event runs September 28th- November 24th which is plenty of time to check this out!

In this event, you walk through over 7000 illuminated jack o'lanterns all designed and hand-carved, according to their website. They say, "Stroll across the Pumpkin Zee Bridge, watch our Pumpkin Carousel twirl, gaze in wonder at swimming aquatic creatures and a giant Sea Serpent. Get mesmerized by a color-changing star show in the Pumpkin Planetarium."

You can get your tickets through their website, reservations are required and adult tickets are $22 (Fri–Sat $27), children 3-17 are $16 (Fri-Sat $20) and Hudson Valley Members or children under the age of three attend for free and from what I've heard, tickets sell out quickly. Times are already selling out!
