The Great Train Extravaganza In Albany

If you know anyone that loves model trains, you may want to let them know that the Great Train Extravaganza public model train show and sale is on Sunday, December 7.

Even if you’re not into anything about model trains and train sets, you should at least check out this extraordinary event. I’ve been there a few times and I’m always impressed with the knowledge of the people that have something set up at the event. Something else that I found to be very impressive were one or two extremely elaborate set up with detailed scenery and had three or four people running their trains.

The fun happens from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center in Albany. There’s a $7.00 dollar admission fee, but kids that are 12-years-old or younger get in free. This is something that I think the kids will really love.
