Christmas Gift Memories

Most people get to a point in their lives when it's almost impossible to give them a gift.

They have  almost everything they need. Which leads me to one of my favorite personal Christmas stories. In radio, most of us have worked on most holidays, including Christmas. I got up to be at the radio station at 6 a.m. I left my mom and dad a card with $50 in it. Yeap - Hard to find gifts for them. My card from them was on the counter. I took it to work and opened it there. There it was. $25 dollars. As it used to be said - "Change back from my dollar". We had reached that point that I was talking about.

After that it was just a card and a Merry Christmas greeting.
