The First Look At The Biggest Brightest Super Moon Since 1948 – Make Sure You Share Your Pics
I have been getting excited for this for a couple of weeks now so you may have to forgive me if I am rushing things by taking pictures already. Tonight and Tomorrow we will be witnessing the moon at it's closest to the Earth while being full since 1948, the next time we will witness anything close to this will be 18 years from now.
Yes we have had other "Super Moons" more recently than 1948 but this one will be exceptional, though maybe to the naked eye in may not be as obvious. From what I can decipher myself the early morning hours tomorrow (Monday) just before the sun rises will be the best time to really capture your best pictures.
Don't worry if you can't manage to get yourself out of bed to take a couple of pics as I will for sure be up and out with cell phone in hand. I'm not sure how well I will do with my cell phone though so if you do mange to get a great shot of this Super moon please share it in the comments section of this post or on the WGNA Facebook page.
