The Fastest Italian Food in the Capital District

We need to talk about Bellini’s Counter.

Marrello Restaurant & Catering Company, owned by Joe Marrello, is local to the capital region and home to Bellini’s Italian Eatery, Jacob & Anthony’s, and their newest addition to the family, Bellini’s Counter.

I’ll go ahead and assume most of you have been to Chipotle, or at least are familiar with the concept of building your own burrito. Well that’s similar to what Bellini’s Counter does with Italian food. When you walk in, you approach the enticing counter and create a wrap, pasta bowl or salad. They have a classics menu that you can order as-is or tweak to your liking, and a build-your-own menu where you can create delicious possibilities. I usually go with a chicken cutlet pasta bowl, topped with vodka sauce (because you can never go wrong with vodka sauce!) They also have their counterfit menu full of healthy alternatives like the Omega Bowl, featuring grilled salmon and Italian rice. Bellini’s Counter offers a gluten free menu too!

The newest Counter opened in December 2016 in Stuyvesant Plaza on Western Ave in Albany. You can also find Bellini’s Counters in Latham at 624 New Loudon Road, and in Albany at 33 New Scotland Ave.

This place is quick and easy for a lunch break and great while you're out and about. Bellini's Counter is DEFINITELY worth the trip!
