The Cost of a Thanksgiving Dinner for 10 in 2016 is…

This is the report from the American Farm Bureau Federation that comes out around this time of year where they calculate how much it should cost to serve Thanksgiving dinner.

And every year I'm like... "Really??? Where are they shopping??" Because it always seems painfully low!

This year is no exception... and actually, the price per person went down this year!  Can you imagine that!?  It's down 1% from last Turkey day!

According to the study, it should only cost $49.87 to serve Thanksgiving dinner for 10 people!

If you're not into the math part, I'll help... that's less than $5 per person!

According to them, dinner includes:

• 16-pound turkey
• stuffing
• sweet potatoes
• rolls
• peas
• cranberries
• carrots and celery
• pumpkin pie
• whipped cream
• coffee
• milk

I'm fixing to spend well over $100 to feed 10 people!  And that doesn't include the alcohol!  So, about how much will it cost you to feed your crew this year??
