You have to feel sorry for teenage girls who can’t afford the expensive gowns that they need to go to a prom. It really lowers their self esteem, and it’s not their fault. That’s where the Cinderella Project comes in. Here’s info from their website.
“The Cinderella Project of the Capital Region – continuing its effort to supply financially challenged area teens with donated gowns and accessories for their high-school proms, totally free of charge to them – will stage its first dress-collection drive of the season this Sunday, Sept. 16, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the inside entrance to Boscov’s in Clifton Park Center.
