If I asked if you'd rather spend $10 on yourself or a complete stranger what you say? You'd have to think about it right? I know I would!  Regardless of your answer, the truth is, more people say it felt better to spend money on someone else rather than yourself.  Giving money to charity promotes happiness.  If money is an issue, you could just as easily donate time by volunteering; there's no greater feeling.

The WGNA High School Hunger Games presented by SEFCU and the US Marines has raised over 50,000 pounds to feed the hungry in greater Albany and it's back! We’ve selected 10 local schools to gather non-perishable food items for the Food Pantries For the Capital District to help feed those in need this coming holiday season and beyond. Not only will all 10 schools be helping such a great cause, but the school that raises the most food will win a private concert from Arista Nashville Recording Artist LANco (Singers of the current hit ‘Greatest Love Story.’) Here are the schools participating this year and keep listening to GNA to find out more.
