Have you noticed it?  Maybe it's just me, but this might be the worst year ever for divits in the road.  I think I'm going to need my wheels AND my neck aligned from all the holes I've met in my recent travels, and we've only  just begun.

I live in Schenectady County, and it's pretty damn bad.  Now don't get me wrong - they're working hard to try to get a jump on the problem this season..   According to the Times Union, Schenectady now has a PATCHER machine that costs $50,000, but they are leasing it.    I guess it spits out "rubberized asphalt", and they like the results.  It's a start, but we have miles and miles to go before we sleep over this issue.

I hope Albany, Troy, Saratoga, Clifton Park and others can pony up and procure Patcher II.  It's a war zone out there, don't you think?   With apologies to Phil Vassar, I have taken the liberty to attack this subject by changing the words to "Just Another Day In Paradise".  Where do YOU think the worst potholes are?  Would love to hear your comments below!
