The Best Capital Region City For Singles

Single and looking for love this Valentine's Day? You may want to consider a move to this Capital Region city.

When it comes to being single in the Capital Region, Cobleskill is apparently the place to be to meet other singles!  According to New York Upstate, Cobleskill has the highest percentage of single residents in the Capital Region. 76% of Cobleskill residents are unmarried, and 57% have never been married. Now while the percentage is high, that only adds up to about 4,200 single men and women.

When it comes to the most total single residents, Albany is the place to be. About 84,000 Albany residents are currently single, just over 75% of the population. Cobleskill and Albany rank 13 and 14 respectively in Upstate New York when it comes to the percentage of single residents.

So if the bigger city single life is your thing, Albany is the place to be. And if you are looking for the small town guy or girl next door, Cobleskill is the place for you.
