‘The Bachelorette’ Premiere Quite Funny [VIDEO]

Last night was the two-hour premiere of this season's "The Bachelorette," on ABC.  If you caught the most recent season of "The Bachelor," featuring Brad Womack, then you will remember second runner-up, Ashley.  You know -- the dental hygenist that Brad sent home before the finale. .

Though I didn't set out to catch the show last night, it pretty much was the only thing I found remotely appealing on the tv guide.  After the first 20 minutes, I'll be honest, I changed the channel.  Ashley is incredibly annoying!  I'm not sure if she was just trying way too hard to be bubbly, but it was overkill no matter what the cause. 

Fortunately, I ended up changing the channel back, just in time to catch most of the one-on-one conversations Ashley was having with a few of  the 25 guys pursuing her eye/heart.  There was also some footage of the guys interacting with one another while enjoying a few adult beverages.  If you saw last night's show, you probably know where I'm headed.

Tim, a liquor distributor (ironically), apparently had a few too many cocktails while waiting for his chance to talk with Ashley one-on-one.  I'm not sure how much of the get together is actually caught on tape.  One can assume that the party they were held for the guys was much longer than what actually showed on the air.  However, I certainly agree with Ashley and most of the guys, not the right time nor place to get plastered.  However, Tim did get plastered and I'm not going to lie -- it was hysterical and made the show!

I have a new found respect for Ashley, especially after re-watching this video.  She definitely tried to give him the benefit of the doubt.  However, enough is enough.  He is 35-years old and should know how to act responsible.  In addition, he tried picking a fight!  Grow up dude!  I'm so glad Ashley ended up making the decision she did in the end.  You go girl!
