Even though it was shot with a couple of tranquilizer darts, it remained in the tree, but climbed higher up.

In the story from News 10 ABC, the bear finally fell out of the tree, to the ground. The animal had been tagged by the Department Of Environmental Conservation before because the bear has been in the area a couple of other times.

This was the reason it was decided that the bear will be probably be euthanized. They believe that the bear has created some public safety issues and being very close to schools, neighborhoods and roadways. The bear was taken in a cage to a wildlife conservation area where they will evaluate it, before any decisions are made.
