The Albany Area Stinks – Literally!

I guess this needs a little bit of explanation, unless you happened to be outside within the last few days.

I guess I wasn't alone with my feelings here. Something was rotten in the Capital Region. I smelled it while driving home to Niskayuna, and when I got home, I saw this article on TimesUnion.com that confirmed it!

People all over seemed to experience the faint smell of, maybe, garbage? A local town landfill that needed to have an airplane drop Lysol on it? Any clues?

The funny thing is that It just seemed to disappear. You would think someone would have chimed in with a scientific, perhaps environmental, explanation. Where is Steve Caporizzo when you need him?

So I have no ending for this. I need closure for these things, don't you? What do you think it was?
