The ABCs Of Cancer – A Child’s Perspective [PHOTOS]

While visiting the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, it was eye-opening how they understand the needs of the patients and their families. There is a wall inside the hospital that deals with the ABCs of Cancer. It is a powerful and moving display from the children's perspective. The artwork that is displayed represents the feelings of the patients as they go through treatment and their perspective through the ABCs. Every letter is represented and it runs the gamut of emotions. When reading through each letter, you can't help but notice the powerful words in the child's handwriting and artwork along with the brutal honesty of what each child is going through.

At St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, no family ever receives a bill for travel, treatment, food or lodging.
