There’s a story from AP about the possibility of terrorists looking to perform cyber attacks on the U.S.

The director of the FBI, Robert Mueller, said that “terrorists may seek to train their own recruits or hire outsiders.” The internet hasn’t been used by any terrorists to do any full-scale cyber attacks. Mueller is prepared to give a testimony about the possible attacks to the House of Representatives. He’s hoping to increase the criminal penalties for hacking into computers to protect private and sensitive information, especially towards economic espionage.

Let’s hope this is something that has been taken care of before something horrible does happen.
