Teen Threatens To Shoot At Troy Middle School Dance
Some rumors that a teen made was allegedly planning a shooting at Troy Middle School dance, led to the arrest of a 13-year-old student from the school.
In a story from News 10 ABC, there was knowledge about the student allegedly bringing a pellet gun to the school earlier in the week. That’s what led the Troy Police to arrest the student and charge the student with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon on School Grounds.
A plan to shoot up the middle school dance that the student and three others were talking about was overheard by someone, and the authorities were called in. The other three teens that were talking about the threat won’t be charged, but the school will be disciplining them.
The dance which is on Friday night, Oct.25, will go on as scheduled and there will be an extra police at the dance. All four teens will not be at the dance. They are forbidden to attend.
