Teen And Dad Arrested After Accident

An 18-year-old was had a traffic accident on Friday in Schaghticoke.

Austin Enos was allegedly speeding, crashed through a top sign and then into a ditch in the area of Route 67.

He then called his father 54-year-old Harry Enos. When the New York State Police got to the accident scene, they started to talk talk to the father. In the story from News 10 ABC, that’s when they noticed the smell of alcohol. They gave him some sobriety tests, but he failed. He was then charged with DWI. His BAC was allegedly .11 percent.

The son, Austin, was allegedly carrying some marijuana, and ended up with a violation of Unlawful Possession Of Marijuana, in addition to a number of traffic tickets.
