Taylor Swift has not been to Albany for her major concert tours to date, but she sells a lot of music in this area. Her new CD "Red" from Big Machine Records is out now, and since it went on sale Tuesday the copies have been moving fast.Soundscan which is the arm of the music industry that tracks physical and digital legal CD sales and downloads reported that after the first day of "Red" being on sale Tuesday that it had sold over 500,000 copies in the first 24 hours.
