Tampa, Florida police are heroes. Today they thwarted an attempt from 17 year old Jared Cano from committing a massacre at a Tampa school.

Police uncovered a very detailed and serious plot that Cano would have carried out if he wasn’t arrested. He wanted to cause “more casualties than were suffered at Columbine” according to Tampa Police Chief Jane Castor. A video of her explaining the plot and the arrest is below, and it sends chills up your spine knowing that this sick kid almost pulled it off. Cano was mad that he was expelled from his school in Tampa, Freedom High School. He planned the attack for the first day of school next week. Here’s the latest on this scary story from ABC News.
