Tammy Wynette, 1942.  Tammy earned the nickname "The First Lady Of Country Music" by singing hits like 'Stand By Your Man' 'Divorce' and ''Til I Can Make It On My Own.'  Tammy's controversial death occurs on April 6, 1998 at the age of 55.
