With a growing Bomb Cyclone bringing blizzards and arctic air to most of the United State this week, Upstate New York's chances of a white Christmas hinge on what happens Friday.
A Winter Weather Advisory is officially in effect for the Capital Region and northern areas can expect a good-sized snowfall for our first plowable snow of the season.
With this rain we're getting today and tomorrow and the temps hovering in the mid 30's and low 40's we might not have a white Christmas in Albany again.
