Latham Circle Mall: What It Was Like Before the Demolition [VIDEO]

Latham Circle Mall was once as it stands today: an open air mall. When it first opened in 1957, it was very much like we now know the "Shoppes at Latham Circle" to be until it was enclosed in 1977. Fourth Graders Skipped the Bus for a Firetruck To Get To School

I remember when I was in elementary school, we had a reading competition. I think it was a "turn off the tv" type of thing. What I think is super cool and wouldn't look back at and say, "that was silly" is what a handful of Shenendehowa Fourth Graders got to experience Thursday morning.

Man Hit By Train in Albany

I hear the trains all the time by my house. It's actually a really soothing sound that I've become quite fond of. It's something that is common, it's become a type of white noise, it's just there. You can almost forget the power that's held behind that horn that helps me fall to sleep some warm nights.
