Sean and Bethany came into the studio yesterday afternoon and said, "listen, this is a big ask but would you be interested..." I was basically like, "stop right there, I'm in!" Next thing I knew I was out bright and early this morning to talk to some of the Capital Regions best on Election Day at the different polling stations.

As election day gets underway Bethany and I were wondering if it were just WGNA listeners voting, who would win the Presidency of the United States. So, why don't we find out with a simple anonymous poll that you can take right now.

Did you register to vote? You had the opportunity to do it right from the comfort of well, wherever you were with your smartphone. It was a simple internet form that needed to be done by October 14th to have you all set to place your vote this November. Apparently a lot of us in New York took that few minutes  because we've broken a record!

In just a few hours at 9 pm the first Presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump will begin. IT is expected to be watched by nearly 100 million Americans, ratings that rival the Superbowl. I expect that half the people are tuning in because  feel it will be an informative debate and half because and half because they want to see a train wreck...

This morning we had a couple of calls from people asking about today's primary elections. I could tell that they were a little worried that we may make fun of them for not knowing the answer to some of these questions especially if they were older than twenty. Even though WGNA has been the number one radio station in the Capital Region for most of the last two decades that I have been here, and the morning show has been at the top of the ratings for a majority of that time, I don't think we have ever won the Times Union Reader Poll. Let's change that this year so that the poll more accurately reflects the ratings.
