Storm System Over Schenectady County Now and Heading Into Albany

This storm system is producing high winds and has the potential for golf ball size hail which was actually reported in the Lake George region earlier this afternoon. It is now moving through Schenectady County and into Albany County. The 1077 'GNA studios in Schenectady are receiving heavy rains, and high winds at about 50 miles per hour.

Heavy Storms Passing Through Saratoga County

According the the National Weather Service a strong storm front moving Northeast at about 50 miles an hour will be passing through Saratoga County very soon. Between 4:45pm and 5:10 the area from Ballston Spa through Wilton and the surrounding areas will see high winds and potential for golf ball size hail. Be careful.
