The Statler Brothers

In honor of Veteran's Day 2012, I wanted to share one of my favorite songs that honors the vets. In 1989, the Statler Brothers scored their final top 10 hit with a song titled 'More Than A Name On A Wall.'

Again this year, some great legends released music that was unheard to most of the general public.  I've compiled a list of what I think were the 5 best new recordings released by legends over the past year.
