State and County Fairs may be canceled, but most are finding ways to continue giving us what want and crave: the food!  I don't know what they were serving up at the Great Schaghticoke Fair 200 years ago, but I don't think they were as blessed with all the deep fried goodies as we are today.  Unfortunately, this legendary Capital Region event won't be happening as a result of the pandemic, but tha

When restaurants were allowed to do take out and delivery during the coronavirus pandemic, they were also allowed to include alcoholic beverages to go. The thinking was that when restaurants were back to service customers inside or out on the patio that the to-go drinks would have to stop. This is not the case.

During the pandemic, when you order take out, you are able to add an alcoholic beverage to your order. There is a bill that could make that a permanent option for a couple of years.

With the coronavirus closing a bunch of local restaurants and bars for dine-in eating, we still want to support where we can and you can help!
