Bright and early was how a chilly Sunday morning began, and for a great cause. It was a trip to Schenectady's Central Park for the second annual 'Walk-N-Roll 2012' for the Spina Bifida Association Of Northeastern New York.
There is a birth defect called Spina Bifida. From their website, it’s something that happens when the spine of a baby fails to close during the first months of pregnancy.
In April, I emceed a "Walk-'N-Roll" fundraiser event for the Spina Bifida Association of Northeastern N.Y., so when I saw this story, I had to blog about it. This one actually made me feel very happy when I read about it.
