Sean and Richie will be taking the literal 1077 'GNA morning show on the road and visiting small towns that our listeners have voted for. Our first broadcast will have Sean and Richie broadcasting live from 6-10am from Hoosick Falls on May 11th at the Falls Diner.

I recently got a request to create  a song for Rock City Falls, NY for Your Town Thursday.   Ok, I'm up for that.

Hoosick Falls was the winner in the first vote to see where the Sean and Richie Show will be heading to do the morning show live with 1077 'GNA on their Small Tour.

All of a sudden it's Wednesday, and it dawned upon me - I have no town for this week's Your Town Thursday!  Would love to see who would like to get their town "all rhymed up".

Sean and Richie are going to be hitting the road in the upcoming weeks and taking the Sean and Richie Show on the road to "Small Town USA."

I'm happy to be back from a great vacation, but chomping at the bit to write a new "Your Town Thursday" theme song.  I had a request from a listener to do one for Victory Mills, but I have a question first.

Nice to get so much input from contributors, and this was no exception.  The Mayfield folks came through again, and it actually caused a major dilemma - how am I supposed to get all of this into one song?  Well, I gave it the old college try.  The results are below

That's right, folks.  It's an all points bulletin.  Shout it from the rooftops. "Richie needs facts about Mayfield so he can write you a song for the next "Your Town Thursday" segment.

I get chastised a lot  for my over abundance of exclamation points in my blogs.  Yes, I do agree that I get over excited sometimes .  Even in the title of this blog I used the dreaded piece of punctuation.   Why?  Because I want to emphasize that YOUR town could get a theme song next for free!! Whoops.  I mean FREE. ( I did it again)

I had enough information for this town to write 5 songs.  I love having that dilemma!  Thanks to all of the junior high kids from Salem Central School for providing all kinds of facts about this great little place in the foothills of the Green Mountains (I learned that from the kids!).

No, I'm not talking abut Salem, Massachussetts.  I don't want to do parodies of "Witch Doctor".  We are talking here about the beautiful little hamlet of Salem, NY - a place very close to the Vermont border, I'm told.  Well, looks like I'm about to find out, because I'm also going there!
