Troy police have confirmed that a black bear has been seen in Troy.

I am taking an FBI Citizens Academy course and was fascinated to learn about a lead the FBI in Albany received. The tipster thought he saw someone resembling Brian Laundrie in the backyard of a Capital Region home. We learned in class how the FBI was called in and what steps they took to find out if they had their man.

Yesterday there was news of a bear roaming around in the Guilderland area and local police warned it's residents.  This morning, another bear was spotted in the Rotterdam area and residents were put on alert.  As a precaution, the Schalmont Central School District issued a message on their Facebook page informing those in their district that they are keeping all students inside for the time being.

Scrolling through my newsfeed today I noticed a giant moose running around in a town... I clicked on it only to see that it wasn't just any town, it was Gloversville. Crazy! Can I confess something for a moment? Moose freak me out! I literally cannot with these giant beasts...
