Ugh , Monday.  Here you are back at work and trying to dig yourself out of the million things you either didn't get done last week or have magically appeared on your desk today. This is the kind of day where you know you need a good laugh but you don't have a whole lot of time. Fortunately I have just the thing, a small dose of "Unnecessary Censorship".

Earlier this week, Sean and I talked about Jake Owen's new song, "American Country Love Song" and we took your calls and texts about what your puppy/summer love song was. So last week our producer Dave was huddled in this little studio for some time working on something that I could only assume was funny because I saw him laughing out loud to himself through the window. I have to apologize because we did this last week and it has taken me this long to share it with you. Maybe I just didn't want to brag and thought modesty might be the way to go but others around the station were like, "No way man, you gotta share that". So I guess it is only fair that put it out there for the world to see.

Listen, I don't ask for favors too much so please understand this is very important to me. My friend and co-host Bethany is trying to raise money to fight blood cancers and become this year's Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's "Woman of the year". Even though WGNA has been the number one radio station in the Capital Region for most of the last two decades that I have been here, and the morning show has been at the top of the ratings for a majority of that time, I don't think we have ever won the Times Union Reader Poll. Let's change that this year so that the poll more accurately reflects the ratings.

This is exciting! Everyone loves a secret right? Even I enjoy trying to figure out a good mystery, but you have to have some facts before you get going with any good mystery. Will will be giving you just that  tomorrow morning at 7:20 a.m.

Yesterday, Saratoga native Patrick Pipino wrote a note to his daughter's school asking them to forgive her for being a little late. While we have all written an excuse note or two for our kids Patrick's was a little different and perhaps a bit more honest.
