This school was an hour and a half trip from my house, but was WELL worth the trip! What a great teacher and really creative first graders! Listen to the little ditty they came up with!

This was a very interesting and rewarding experience - traveling to the Marie Curie Institute of Engineering and Communications in Amsterdam. (Sounds like a college, doesn't it?) Well, these kids were smart enough to be in one, and they were just second graders!
Another first, ladies and gentlemen. Through the use of magic teleconferencing technology at NERIC (Northeastern Regional Information Center) in Albany, I was able to pull this off. This was a blast to try out. You can see the results below.
I had a fantastic time at the Green Meadow School in the Schodack/Castleton area today with my favorite little moonlighting job - the Readin' Writing and Rhymin Tour. This appearance was actually a prize won at a fundraising event, (thanks Mrs. Bertrani!) so I wanted to make it special, and it was!
