Saturday Night Live

I know I am excited about Saturday Night Live this week. I think Blake Shelton is a naturally funny dude, and I know he will do whatever it takes to get a laugh. I don't know if he will live up to Justin Timberlake but I do know that one of the great things about both Justin and Blake is that neither of them take themselves too seriously, and THAT usually means funny.

As someone who loves both "The Office" and "The Hobbit," I think that this video is awesome. While it is not something I ever could have imagined in my own head, I am so happy that someone else did and that "Saturday Night Live" did it so danged well.

Cameron Diaz hosted Saturday Night Live's Thanksgiving show the other night and she did a great job!  There were two really LOL moments that I thought stood out. I know sometimes it's hard to stay up late, so I thought I'd pass them along to you here...

Don't try to hide it, you know you've found yourself singing a Taylor Swift song out of nowhere! I know, I've been there too, but fear not! There is finally a cure from the people at SNL...

NBC announced yesterday that Jimmy Fallon will host it's December 21 episode with special musical guest Justin Timberlake! As if that's not exciting enough, Paul Rudd will host on December 7 with musical guest One Direction, and John Goodman will take a turn hosting on December 14 with Kings of Leon...

We already know that Bill Hader is done with Saturday Night Live and Seth Myers will leave middle of next season to take over "Late Night" but they may not be the only one's leaving.

I have always loved good impressions, I know how hard it is to do them. The one place that is famous for great impersonations has always been Saturday Night Live. Over the years there have been some good ones, this year one of the most popular is Kate McKinnon's impersonation of Ellen.

You had to know when all the silly controversy over Brad Paisley's "Accidental Racist" song happened, that SNL would want to so a skit about it. Fortunately for us, they did! I think this is absolutely HYSTERICAL!

I have to admit that Justin Timberlake has become one of my all time favorite hosts of Saturday Night Live. Some of his music isn't really my style but the guy is funny and it shows on SNL. So there is no way I will miss this Saturday night when he hosts for a Legendary 5th time.

Not too long ago there was a Facebook campaign to get Betty White to host Saturday Night Live. It worked perfectly and she was great. This new attempt to get a host and musical guest on the show has my complete support. There is a page pushing for Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert to host and be the musical guests on SNL.

Normally Bobby Moynihan pretends to be New Jersey Governor Chris Christie on Saturday Night Live but this week the man himself made an appearance.
