I joked around a bit with the title to this blog but the truth is , there are some ways that people actually die on Thanksgiving and all of them are totally avoidable. While I am quite confident we will all not only be fine and happy for this wonderful family holiday, it couldn't hurt to at least take a look at the biggest dangers.

The owner of two motels on Central Avenue in Colonie that were shuttered and considered uninhabitable by the Town Of Colonie, was supposed to be in Colonie Town Court on Thursday.

Back in January, two Colonie Motels were raided by Colonie Police for code violations. Code officials declared both buildings uninhabitable and then had them shuttered.

Last month, there was a bomb threat made on the social media app Yik Yak which was aimed at one of the buildings on the Shenedehowa campus.

On Tuesday afternoon around 5:00 p.m., Albany Police went to the Abrookin Career And Technical School on Kent Street because they had a warrant for a student at the school.

After a bomb threat at the Shenendehowa High School East building, New York State Police remained at the school all day Monday, and also conducted an investigation.
