Richie Phillips has always been one of the most respected radio personalities in the Northeast, currently heard on the Sean and Richie show on 1077/GNA.

Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, some of the areas best known entertainers will get together to dance and 'Party For A Cause' to help the Cornell Cooperative Extension and the Saratoga County 4-H at Vapor in Saratoga Casino and Raceway.

I was reading a GROSS story off air to Richie and he said "I can relate". To which I said there is no way you can relate to a story this gross AND HE DID!

Today is a special day on WGNA, as we honor the 60th birthday of Richie Phillips!

Congratulations to a very deserving Richie Phillips for being honored with the 2013 Friend of the Academy for Character Education Award for his leadership in "furthering the character education initiative in the Capital Region!"

i started writing these little year end summary songs my very first year in radio (1988).  They take a long time to put together, trust me.  I want to cram in as much as I can into a 2 minute ditty.  And this year I'm going to perform it LIVE (gulp)

I'm excited about this New Year's Eve.  Part of this very cool upcoming event will be a good old fashioned piano sing-a-long.  And look who'll be doing the singing with me!

Someone slap me.  I'm still not sure if I dreamt this entire thing or not. I couldn't sleep for two nights before this happened and for two nights afterwards.  Everyone tells me that it actually happened, so I'll have to believe you.  Here's a short slice of it
