It's a simple question. Shouldn't take long to take this very scientific Sean and Richie Poll. Since I'm conducting it, maybe we can call it the 'Lou Hairless Poll'. We had the debate in the studio between songs about giving gift cards versus a 'real gift', you know a tangible item. We talked about this recently as part of our Daily Dilemma even. Someone once told us that gift cards were for jun
It's about time, folks. Now don't start thinking this is prejudice or protectionism or all that crap. This is about survival right now, and I personally stand up and applaud ABC for this idea-a national challenge for everyone to at least buy SOMETHING that wasn't produced in China! (I know it's gonna be tough, but we have to try!)
Today I'm off on another Readin', Writin, and Rhymin' Tour . I'm going to Yates Magnet School in Schenectady. This is a return visit for me. Always have a good time there. But this time I'm trying a grand experiment!
We're getting there-the much anticipated (or much dreaded, depending on your point of view) Black Friday. And that begs the question: is Black Friday really the best day to buy everything? Well, here's a bit of technology to help you decide. It's called DECIDE.com (genius!)

This is hysterical- but he has an ulterior motive.
I can't say that I actually mind shopping malls in short doses. But I have to be able to exit really quickly. It's not claustrophobia, it's COSTrophobia. I can spend my whole salary in an hour if you let me. So I'd never be caught DEAD in these big honkin' structures...
With a relatively nice day and the time change yesterday, I slept in a little late, met some friends and went to Saratoga to walk around and grab lunch. In case you have never been to downtown Saratoga, there are numerous boutiques and shops to either window shop or browse, including women's clothing stores.
Remember when life was more simple? I don't know how old you are, but I certainly do. I remember only having 3 tv channels , and one of them came in "fuzzy". The corner grocery store! The local hardware store with maybe 50 paint choices, TOPS!. Big Box store? What's THAT about?
