Today's Dilemma dealt with a friend who wanted to help another friend in need. They said that they admired this woman who had always worked hard to take care of herself and her son, but had recently fallen on hard times
It's the weekend. It's a nice time to relax, maybe go to the mall or go to a movie, or go site-seeing. And then you come home, go online to a news site, and this is the first thing you see:
Sadly, I think I'm a lot like most people when it comes to this recession and impending debt ceiling crises, the less I have to think about it the better. We all just try to get through it with the hopes that it will lead to a better day
According to the Department of Taxation and Finance, sales tax revenue here in the great state of New York is on the rise.
We keep hearing that the recession is over. Tell that to the hundreds of thousands of people that can't find a job.
I don't know about you, but I must have a "Hear's a Potential Extended Warrantee Sucker" written on my forehead whenever I go into a store. I DESPISE it when they badger you into buying one of these things, don't you?
