March 14, 2012 We have our all important Countryfest on the horizon. Always a very exciting time here at 'GNA. I've lost count but I'm pretty sure I'm close to 20 of them. Which makes me think back to the very first time I ever introduced a country show way back when. Let's go back, shall we?
A little over a week ago our friends at Taste Of Country posted the news that Randy Travis had been arrested in the early morning of February 6th after watching the Super Bowl.
February 8, 2012 Through the years several Country Music stars have landed themselves in trouble with the law. Randy Travis recently joined that long and interesting list of Country Music stars who now have their own mug shots.
After news of Randy Travis‘ 1:30AM arrest on a charge of suspicion of public intoxication circulated this morning, Travis came out with a public apology for his actions. In a statement to the Associated Press, the country singer offered his sincerest apologies for ”what resulted following an evening of celebrating the Super Bowl,” assuring that he’s ”committed to being responsible and accountable” in the future.
