There seems to be a surge in population north of the Twin Bridges. Saratoga County has boasted most of the growth in population in the last eight years. Two towns specifically had the most in New York state.
It looks like people are leaving New York. In fact, more people are leaving than any other state nationally, to be accurate.
Apparently, New York tops the states for population loss, with the highest rate nationally. According to cbs 6 Albany, 48,510 people left New York from July, 2017 to July, 2018...
Over the last decade, plus, Cohoes has been in the process of reviving their little city. What had become a run down, in spots, fairly abandoned area has had a lot of hard work put into changing its reputation.
