One of my favorite things during the holiday season are the amazing stories of good samaritans and this year is no different. Apparently, there's an angel frequenting the Glenmont Walmart.
With all of the sad and sometimes maddening news that trends sometimes, it's nice to focus on a good local story to put a smile on your face. One person helping as many strangers as he can.
There isn’t a better feeling than when a complete stranger does a random act of kindness. I truly believe that this is one of the most awesome things to be the recipient of. Let's keep it going.
Recently I wrote a blog about how it seems that I truly am feeling the Christmas Spirit this year and that I was thankful because I really do think now more than ever the WORLD needs Christmas. I think we all need to feel a little warmth in our hearts and help others to feel it as well, so i was THRILLED when I saw an old friend post this on her Facebook tonight.
Am I kidding myself? Who's going to click on people doing nice things for each other? Who wants to see random acts of kindness? How boring, right? NOT!
Last week, I had a story about a random act of kindness where various articles of winter clothing were left around Amsterdam so people could take them if they needed to stay warm.
Wow, I really can't believe how much I love this video. Every time I see something like this I think , I wish I could have this for a job. Just spend everyday trying to find ways to make people happy, to reward random people for putting others before themselves. The only sad thing is that there are just so many good people out there who deserve it, you just couldn't help them all. You have to star
This morning on "The Good News" , a feature we do every weekday morning at 8:10 am on the "Sean and Richie Show",we talked about an 8 year old boy who touched a soldier with his generosity. The boy is Myles Eckert and he lives in Toledo, Ohio. Last month Myles hit the jackpot by finding a $20 bill in the parking lot on his way into the local Cracker Barrel with his family. Whe
I can't even explain how incredible I think this video is, clearly the message of kindness and giving is one that should always be valued and spread as often as possible. There is more to it though, perhaps the production itself, the acting and directing set the tone so very well. Perhaps it's the fact that it is in a foreign language and because of that emphasizes how much we are all truly alike
Kyle from Give Back Films gives several homeless people $100 bills in this awesome video! I have to admit, it made me cry a little. But it gave me so much hope, too!
Way to go Kyle!
