You realize that your kids grow up so fast but this mother put into perspective just how fast it really is.

It didn't happen locally but it could, parents at a softball tournament in Tennessee started throwing punches instead of pitches. Tournament director Tina Gale says both teams involved in the fight were from North Carolina and immediately disqualified from the tournament and escorted out of the ballpark.

School supplies can be expensive, not only for families but also for teachers. Many parents can't afford to buy all of the tools needed for their kids at school. Now a local school is taking that burden away without costing taxpayers more.

I really don't understand why people do the things they do. When I saw this story, I wonder how we, as a society, got to be so cruel. I guess now I have to inspect the playground before I can let my kid play on it. Really? What do these jerks possibly have to gain from this kind of behavior? It's sad.

The management at Peddlers Bar and Bistro in Clifton Park feels that children have no voice when it comes to how many alcoholic drinks their parents have before they get behind the wheel of a car.  Peddlers, however, will be speaking for the children and cutting off parents who are driving after just one alcoholic drink.  I think this is a great idea, and one that all restaurants should adopt.  Do

Social media can be a scary situation for parents especially when they keep updating and changing everything about each app and service. Snapchat is the latest to cause a commotion and that is with their new "Snap Map."

My father is the least technologically inclined person ever but I trusted him to take a picture of me and my Mother for Mother's Day.

The election has definitely had an affect on people. You see it all over social media or in just turning on the news with protests whether violent or peaceful. It's typically uncommon for the Superintendent of a school district to reach out not only to parents but the community with a reaction but, Dr. L. Oliver Robinson of Shenendehowa felt due to recent circumstances it was necessary.

There is something so charming about this video, perhaps because the whole time I watched it I thought "Oh my God , this could totally be my Father in Law!"  It got me thinking it could anyone's Dad simply having a great time with technology even though he has no idea how to operate it correctly, maybe even yours.

Maybe this makes me a bad person but I am getting such a kick out of watching this video over and over. The video is of a Mom reading a scary story to her son and just at the right moment scaring the heck out him. IT is hysterical! Is it a little mean? Maybe but it also makes me want to get my camera out and scare my 5 year old too, I just love their raw reactions.

This little 6 year old's name is Tiana. I am not so sure she is really 6 years old though, from the way she speaks and her message , I think she may be 96. I have to tell you I have always found that children have the most to teach us, and she proves it. All you have to do is look past the simplicity of the language and into the incredible depths of the message.
